** Unless otherwise specified in this privacy notice, any personal data collected as part of our client due diligence processes will be used solely for the purpose of complying with legal obligations related to the prevention of money laundering, terrorist financing, and proliferation financing. We will not process this data for any other purposes without your consent. Furthermore, we do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling that could produce legal effects or similarly significant impacts on you, beyond what is described above.

Disclosures of personal information

We may disclose your personal data to courts, law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies (including the Solicitors Regulation Authority), and government officials where required by law, or where reasonably necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims, or for the purposes of a confidential alternative dispute resolution process.

We may share your personal data with companies providing services for anti-money laundering checks, identity verification (using secure electronic verification systems), credit risk reduction, and fraud and crime prevention purposes, as well as with financial institutions, credit reference agencies, and relevant regulatory bodies.

If we have collected your personal data in the course of providing legal services to any of our clients, we may disclose it to that client, and, where permitted by law, to other parties for the purpose of delivering those services.

Your rights

Request access to your personal data. This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.

Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected, though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.

Request erasure of your personal data in certain circumstances. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it.
